The heart of the platform: a smart gateway
Rovers don’t connect to the caster directly but to the gateway. It authenticates, selects the base, relays RTCM and keeps the connection alive even when bases fail. Guiding principle: a valid user never loses corrections.
AUTO – nearest base
From the rover’s NMEA GGA position the gateway picks the nearest healthy base (haversine) – users need just one mountpoint.
Automatic failover & failback
A base goes down → within seconds the rover is moved to the next nearest one, stays connected and FIX recovers quickly; when the base is back – failback.
Real-time authorization
Account, package and expiry are checked against the database on every connect; expiry or suspension cuts the stream within seconds.
