RTK for survey rovers, drones and apps

NTRIP setup for survey rovers (CHC, Stonex, Emlid), u-blox F9P modules, DJI RTK drones and Android apps – where to enter your RTK.ba connection details.

6 min read

Survey controllers (CHC LandStar, Stonex Cube, Trimble Access, Carlson SurvPC…)

In the rover profile select Rover → Network / NTRIP (via the controller's internet or the modem in the receiver), enter rtk.ba : 2101 and your account, and select the AUTO mountpoint. If the software offers "Send GGA" – enable it.

Emlid Reach (Emlid Flow)

In the Emlid Flow app: Correction input → NTRIP, enter the address, port, username, password and mountpoint. Reach sends GGA automatically. Check the "FIX" status and "Age of differential".

u-blox ZED-F9P and similar modules

The module itself has no internet connection – corrections are delivered to it by an NTRIP client (u-center → Receiver → NTRIP Client, AgIO, RTKLIB str2str or an Android app) over USB/UART. For the AUTO mountpoint, the client must send GGA back to the caster.

Android phones as a modem

Apps such as Lefebure NTRIP Client or SW Maps fetch corrections over mobile data and forward them to the receiver via Bluetooth – handy for simpler rovers and retrofit systems.

DJI RTK drones

On drones with an RTK module (e.g. Matrice, Mavic 3 Enterprise RTK, Agras): in the DJI Pilot/Agras app select the RTK service Custom Network RTK (NTRIP) and enter the host, port, mountpoint and account. The remote controller must have internet access.
